Risk & Change Manager

We are looking for a dedicated/experienced/driven Risk & Change Manager to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent/bold/passionate Program team based in Stockholm (with commitment to travel to Skellefteå). By joining us, you will be a key player in the Program PMO team on building one of the first large scale European battery factories.

About the job _

_As the Risk & Change Manager in Northvolt Ett, Program PMO, you will take the ownership of Risk Management and Change Management during program preparation, planning, execution and handover periods for the large-scale battery factory being built in Northern Sweden.

The responsibilities of the Risk Management element will encompass tracking and progressing the risk process by the risk owners, ensuring timely follow up of risk mitigations, supporting the ongoing update and management of the risk profile and seeking improvement for the current processes. Your responsibilities for Change Management will cover setting up, steering and administering the change process, facilitating change meetings and ensuring proper management and close out of all program changes.

Apart from above, you will have the opportunity to build your own team on our path towards Northvolt Ett Phase 2.

About the team

There are several functions such as planning, document control and general management in the PMO team, in which you will find collaboration, transparency and integrity. The team members are either based in Stockholm or Skellefteå but work closely on a daily basis. Each team member connects to other teams on behalf of Program PMO to perform their tasks within Ett, or with Labs and NV.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Driving risk-based thinking in the NV Ett program and projects, supporting and administering the NV Ett program Risk Management Process as well as coordinating the systematic management of risk through the risk owners.
  • Facilitating monthly risk reviews with the delivery teams and preparing risk and mitigation inputs and eventually driving the Quantitative Risk Analysis reviews for the program team.
  • Build up, improve and administer the NV Ett program Change Management Process and ensure the change decisions are fully communicated to the change owners
  • Develop the digitalization for risk and change management in Ett
  • Stakeholder management in a cross-team environment and produce status report to the management team

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have :

  • A relevant bachelor or masters degree
  • Minimum 8 years work of relevant work experience
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • MS Office suite skills
  • Technical background or an interest in technical industries
  • Experience of change and or risk management processes is credited but not essential

Bonus points for:

  • Power BI skills
  • Risk Management software skills
  • Technical or project controls skillset
  • Experience and interest in manufacturing industry
