The Koenigsegg Software & Electronics department is responsible for designing and developing software and electronics for the in-vehicle infotainment system, electronic control units (ECU) and supporting tools. We are working very closely with the other engineering departments, production and service/aftersales. We are now looking to expand the team with a skilled and experienced functional safety engineer with the ability to add the level of safety required for in-house developed ECUs and also further advance the processes and tools used for our safety work.

While the responsibilities associated with this position put a strong requirement on your ability to cooperate with other departments in other technical domains, it offers you a uniquely dynamic environment to push the capabilities of our software platform to a new level. The activities are focused on the safety analysis and mitigation methods.

  • Actively work with conceptual designs such as Functional Safety Concept (FSC) and Technical Safety Concept (TSC)
  • Actively work with system, hardware and software architecture from a functional safety perspective
  • Actively work with ASIL decomposition in our system architecture
  • Actively develop and evolve the safety cases for our different vehicle programs
  • Actively push the evolvement of our safety strategies within Koenigsegg
  • Create safety requirements and mitigation methods on system, hardware and software level based on our safety analysis results
  • Create safety test requirements allocated to our safety requirements on system, hardware and software level
