Geometry Assurance Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Geometry Assurance Engineer to join our Mechanical team in Stockholm. You will take part in developing li-ion battery systems while being a part of enabling an industry and a society powered by sustainable energy sources.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support design and manufacturing team with stack-up simulations.
  • Advice with the proper application of GD&T on technical documentation
  • Develop and design battery packs for industrial and ESS (energy storage system) market
  • Identify the critical product characteristics to achieve the best safety, performance, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency
  • Participate in technical design reviews

We believe you have worked as a Geometry Assurance Engineer within the automotive or similar industry. You have a good understanding of production processes, methods and technologies.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience to perform at this level
  • +5 years experience from Geometry Assurance
  • +8 years experience in mechanical design
  • Expertise in GD&T on drawings and measurement (preferably in ISO, ASME is a plus)
  • Experience in 3D tolerance stack-up simulation software, preferably in VisVSA
  • Expertise in manufacturing technologies, processes and achievable tolerances.
  • Knowledge of design and manufacturing requirements & constraints on typical plastic and sheet metal components
  • Computer-aided design skills (NX is a plus)
  • PLM/PDM skills (Teamcenter is a plus)
