Business Development Manager - Voltpack Mobile System

Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a sales manager to join our passionate business development team in Stockholm. In joining us you will play an important part in the transformation to a carbon free society.

The Voltpack Mobile System is making temporary diesel generators obsolete. As a business development manager, you will be accelerating the market adoption of one of the most innovative energy storage products on the market.

You will be working across multiple segments namely: utilities, construction, events and electric vehicle charging. You will be pitching a technologically superior and more sustainable battery-based solution than traditional temporary power generation solutions to a wide range of stakeholders across these segments.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Generate, develop, and close leads
  • Draft and negotiate supply agreements
  • Structure partnership agreements
  • Organize marketing events to promote the product

You will be part of the business development team and work closely with both our business engineering, battery systems and R&D teams to sell and deliver superior products and solutions to our customers.

You will be based in Stockholm, Sweden and travel on a regular basis to meet your customers in Europe.

Skills & Requirements


  • A degree in engineering or in business administration with experience in the power industry
  • 5 years working experience in sales
  • Experience in energy storage or temporary power generation is desirable
  • Track record of successful sales in a high growth environment
  • Startup and growth company experience is a major advantage
