SOGETI is looking for a talented, driven and experienced Data Migration Lead to join our company.

As part of the Digital department composed of smart & dedicated people like yourself who make an impact with both internal and client stakeholders, you will participate in the full lifecycle of a project on client premises.

You will do more than just sling code and you will engage in some of Luxembourg’s most innovative projects.

Your challenge:

As a lead and individual contributor, you will provide Data Migration solutions in Temenos Platform and also guide team to achieve the desired objective.

  • Understanding the Scope of Migration;
  • Understanding the Source and Target Architecture;
  • Engagement with Client stakeholders for Understanding Scope/Functionality/Data Model etc;
  • Map legacy model to the Target model;
  • Evaluation and Effort estimation;
  • Support in finalizing the Data Migration Execution Plan;
  • Defining the Data Migration Strategy along with securing Signoff;
  • Defining the Data Migration Approach and Data Mapping by Module;
  • Preparing and securing signoff for Data Mapping sheet;
  • Track DM Build and ensure completion on time;
  • Participate/Support in Data Profiling, Data Cleansing;
  • Mobilize, Lead and guide Team to Perform DM activities;
  • Execution of Data Migration Rehearsals;
  • Participate/Support in Data Transformation;
  • Reconciliation Report Generation & ensuring Data/GL reconciliation;
  • Go-Live Execution and support;
  • Involve and Support SOE preparation;
  • Support in Data Reconciliation and GL reconciliation;
  • Support Business with Clarification and Data Migration COB Support;
  • Stakeholder Management;
  • Review deliverables and provide feedback;
  • Support project manager with the delivery planning;
  • Use of out-of-the-box proven technologies, avoiding customization wherever possible.
Skills & Requirements

You have a holistic view of Data Migration Concepts and good knowledge in Core Banking Data migration along with Functional and Technical understanding of Core banking system. You should be able to drive the competencies and provide delivery support for the T24 related projects/programs ensuring quality and sound solutions.

  • Must have an Overall Experience of 12+ years in Software Industry with 10+ years of Experience in Core Banking. Should possess minimum 8+ years of Migration Experience and participated in various Data Migration projects;
  • Should have managed min 2 E2E Data Migration enagagements for major Banking systems;
  • Exception Verbal and Written Communication skill;
  • Must have French and English communication (Oral / Written);
  • Good Team Management and Decision-making skill;
  • Must have a good knowledge in Effort estimations of Data Migration;
  • Very Good Functional Knowledge in Core Banking;
  • Very Good experience in Data Migration strategy preparation;
  • Very Good experience in Data Mapping and Conversion, Requirement gathering, Data mapping sheet preparation and Data/GL reconciliation solutioning;
  • Previous knowledge in T24 TAFC, TAFJ, T24 Architecture will be preferred;
  • Very Good Knowledge in Performance Tuning, Multi-Threaded routine, etc;
  • Prior involvement or Experience in Preparation of SOE of DM;
  • Must be capable of working in a Collaborative environment and should also be self-driven.

Consulting Delivery - Understands how to deliver in a Global environment. Follows and suggest the best Practices in Process and Solution design. Systematically breaks down complex problems or processes into manageable parts.

Education:

3+ years university degree in IT and 12 years of professional experience; or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
