We’re looking for a field sales manager to play a key role in F-Secure’s North American growth by identifying & driving demand within Salesforce Enterprise & corporate organizations. In this position you will be working directly with our technical experts, alliances team and marketing to identify, nurture & convert new clients to our Cloud Protection for Salesforce offering. As a field sales manager you’ll be critical to the long-term growth and success of F-Secure’s cloud protection for salesforce business in North America.

Cloud Protection for Salesforce is a market leader and designed to prevent attacks from being conducted via malicious files and URLs uploaded to Salesforce from sophisticated criminal groups and users outside of an organizations cyber security perimeter. It identifies, quarantines, reports, and ultimately prevents malicious content from making its way into an organizations IT infrastructure via Salesforce. Salesforce is responsible for the security of the infrastructure and managing the security of the cloud, but not the content that resides in it. F-Secure helps customers to fulfill their shared responsibility to ensure that everything that is in their cloud is secure and free from malware. This includes protecting any content residing on the platform, whether it was uploaded by internals or externals parties.

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial individual to join our growing North American team to drive, seek out and close net new Cloud Protection for Salesforce business within the enterprise & corporate space across all applicable industry verticals.

What we need…

Taking the decision to purchase a cyber security solution to protect an organizations cloud infrastructure against cyber-attacks mounted by some of the best attackers in the world is not an easy one. The decision typically involves interaction with relevant C-Level, application owners and line of business stakeholders within any given organization which presents complexity and many moving parts. We need a candidate who can think on their feet and manage complex enterprise sales cycles.

As a field sales manager we would like you to:

  • Generate net new qualified pipeline opportunities – driving demand within enterprise & corporate organizations
  • Qualify and convert inbound leads
  • Identify a carefully selected strategic prospect list and work to qualify, develop and build credibility within these organizations. Undertake this objective using a consistent and methodical approach on a day-to-day basis. Demonstrate constant progress.

  • Quickly grasp business drivers and be capable of planning and coordinating moderately large teams of people within the prospect (and across F-Secure) whilst demonstrating clear structure and sequence throughout the deal cycle.

  • Move prospects through the sales process, identifying the key stakeholders while mapping value and the business case

  • Teamwork with, and be sensitive to, existing relationships and account objectives (where relevant)

  • Understand the F-Secure Cloud Protection for Salesforce value proposition and be able to tailor this in-line with prospect requirements

  • Consistently review performance against target. Forecasting personal sales and monitoring personal performance against targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, whilst providing reporting.

  • Meticulous CRM vigor

  • Tailor and control each opportunity

  • Achieve/exceed individual sales targets

  • Understand how organizations use cloud solutions/applications

Who we think will be a great fit…

As a successful end user sales/field sales manager you will demonstrate:

  • The ability to articulate technical concepts into business insights that can be understood by business executives
  • The ability to open doors at the highest level – specifically into the major enterprise and high end corporate customers in the assigned region
  • You are familiar with both direct and indirect sales models

  • A strong track record of exceeding sales targets

  • A consistent and logical approach to time management and prioritization

  • Ability to formulate and write business plans

  • Strong and compelling presenter

  • Commercial acumen and a strong customer focused approach

  • You are a quick learner, intellectually curious and a problem solver

  • You work well in an environment where micro-management is not part of the culture

  • You have excellent communication skills

  • Additionally, a background in Salesforce and its ecosystem and/or Salesforce consulting business will be an advantage

  • Demonstrate conviction and determination and never at the expense of the wider team
