Are you looking for a unique opportunity inside a cutting edge technology company? Data Acquisition Specialists are key to the development of our Human Insight AI. Smart Eye is developing the next generation of Driver Monitoring Systems and advanced Interior Sensing technology and this role will be right in the middle of it all.

We’re looking for someone who can handle multiple ongoing projects and is excited to get their hands dirty in the unique challenges that data collection can face. In this role you will be a Data Acquisition Specialist for the Gothenburg based team but will be supporting projects in different locations as well.

Skills & Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Support local and global data collection efforts. This includes environment setup, protocol design, hardware troubleshooting, software configurations, participant logistics and recruitment etc.
  • Operate collection systems, monitor data quality
  • Perform camera tracking calibrations and measurements
  • Document protocol and collection environment setups
  • Support debugging and corrective actions for HW & SW issues
  • Run test participants through collection protocols
  • Support presentations and meetings with the project stakeholders

Must Haves (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience and deep interest in an engineering discipline (electrical, systems, computer science, software, computer or related field of study)
  • Drivers License
  • Strong Problem Solving Skills
  • Experience and ability to work on a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (electrical, systems, computer science, software, computer or related field of study)
  • Experience with testing environments and participant based research studies
  • Experience with vehicle protocols and simulation tools – (e.g. CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
  • Experience working on projects with global teams
  • Experience with Vehicle Diagnostics
  • Experience with Automotive cameras
  • Linux/Windows experience
