Simployer continues to grow, and we are now expanding our team in Poland – Gdańsk.
We are looking for a new BI Developer to supplement our product team in developing an analytical module for our HRM (Human Resources Management) Suite. The team consists of two Software Developers, Quality Assurance Specialist and Team Manager supported by Product Manager and Delivery Manager.
We’re building and maintaining data warehouse, that can be consumed using our products: API and dashboards. Our main goal is to help customers understand their organization’s HR state and guide them through it.
As a part of Simployer Tech Polska, your main task will be:
- Implementing new features (e.g., extending data model and business logic, improving query performance).
- Translating business requirements into technical ones: articulating tasks that cover a user interface and reporting capabilities.
- Participation in data warehouse design.
- Creating technical documentation for BI tools.
- Monitoring and maintenance of existing solutions - reacting to unusual behavior.
- Ensuring our data model is clear and analytics-friendly.
Skills you are going to use:
- Strong BI/SQL developer background.
- Familiarity with SSMS, SSDT, T-SQL, tSQLt.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and clear way.
- Data analytics mindset.
- Business analytics skills – to set precise requirements for future software and make the right strategic decisions.
- Polish and English - B2 at minimum is necessary.
Nice to have:
- Software engineering skills: .NET/C# is preferred.
- Knowledge of RabbitMQ and GraphQL.
- Some industry experience with cloud solutions (Azure).
- Understanding of event-based communication.

Our company is based in Gdańsk Nowomiejska 3. This role can be done remotely but Simployer is a real crew! We would love to meet you in person! We expect you to visit our office on a flexible basis.
