Do you want to shape the future of Scandic’s E-commerce and Digital Development?

We are now seeking a commercial key player who’s passionate about driving the digital transformation of Scandic’s customer journey. As Head of E-Commerce and Customer Digital Development – you will manage, develop, and guide our e-commerce and provide our guests with a personal, interactive, and seamless experience. Together with your team, you will play an inspiring and critical role in contributing to the unified commercial strategy.

A strong and effective leader that embraces challenges and takes the initiative from strategy to action, with energy and joy. With that being said, we believe that you have what it takes to grow a world-class digital team of talented Product Managers, UX/UI designers, Engineering Managers, and Developers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a multi-year product vision and strategy that drives the digital transformation of our customer journey and plays an integral part in contributing to the overall commercial strategy.
  • Drive execution of e-commerce strategy and developing products with the customer at heart, leveraging digital technologies to give them a personal, interactive, and seamless experience.
  • Initiate innovation and experimentation, helping Scandic to stay ahead of the competition and market.
  • Lead delivery and engineering of the digital products, building a strong architectural foundation for Scandic Digital Platform (which includes both custom solutions such as Scandic Web, Mobile App, API platform, and third-party products.)

What are we looking for?

  • A tech-oriented business leader with demonstrated experience in leading and shaping digital transformation programs in a mid/large organization.
  • Proven skills in understanding the market, technology trends, and customer needs.
  • Developing product strategy and aligning product roadmaps based on inputs from customers and internal stakeholders.
  • A leader with a solid background in software engineering and architecture and has gradually developed business acumen to lead business teams.
  • Experience in leading e-commerce, product management, and engineering teams.
  • A broad technical experience but mainly focusing on API, services, DevOps/continuous delivery, and cloud.
  • Exceptional leadership and personal skills that grow, motivate and inspire team members.
  • A present leader that can understand, embrace and live by our guiding principles: Empower, Build trust, Inspire and Collaborate.
  • Experience in leading a team of at least 25+ in-house employees and consultants.
