Sales business function is responsible for growing Basware's cloud revenue via new customer acquisition and by driving expansion within a satisfied customer base. Through customer-centric selling and collaborative account management we lead prospects & customers through the buying process with Basware, leveraging sales platforms including CRM, CPQ and CLM that support managing the sales cycle.

In partnership with Marketing, Customer Services and Partners, we enable organizations to simplify operations, spend smarter and drive the transformation of their Finance & Procurement functions.

We are looking for a Corporate Sales Account Executive to win new business and grow existing customers

Key role responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious, and hungry Corporate Sales Account Executive to focus on the growth of our Corporate enterprise segment. As a Corporate Sales Account Executive, you will own, manage, negotiate and close high volume transactions in our existing customer base, alongside new logo acquisition accounts, selling Basware’s full portfolio of software and services within the assigned region/territory. The role is based in Amsterdam and will be engaging with our customers and prospects by phone or online.

This role is a quota carrying role and the successful candidate will be responsible for successfully creating, developing and managing pipeline while accurately forecasting against your revenue targets. You will bring with you experience managing deal cycles through to close and a track record of exceeding revenue targets in a direct sales capacity.

Primary responsibilities

  • To exceed monthly / quarterly sales targets by selling Basware solutions into Corporate accounts within an assigned region or territory.
  • You will manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, while expanding existing accounts.
  • Accurate monthly forecasting and revenue delivery.
  • Territory identification and research, to formalize a go-to-market strategy and create qualified target accounts.
  • Pipeline development through a combination of cold-calling, email campaigns, and market sector knowledge & intelligence.
  • Create and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure over-achievement within the designated territory.
  • Engage with prospect organizations to position Basware solutions through strategic value-based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis, references, and analyst data.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources such as BDR, Presales, Professional Services, Executives, Partners, etc.
  • Generate short-term results whilst maintaining a long-term perspective to maximize overall revenue generation.
  • Daily update of the CRM system with accurate customer and pipeline data.
