reMarkable is a Norwegian technology company that develops products and services to help people think better in a distracted world. Following the successful launch of our second-generation paper tablet, which has been named one of TIME's "100 Best Innovations of 2020", we’re facing new challenges and opportunities as we expand into the global arena. In a short amount of time, we’ve grown from a small startup to having over 200 permanent employees and two fantastic offices in central Oslo - and we keep growing!

About the role
As a Supply Chain Operations Specialist, you will work day-to-day with operations within logistics with the goal of strengthening reMarkable's value chain. Today, we have a global flow of goods - both directly to consumers, companies, partners and various warehouses - and the number of goods and shipments will continue to increase in the time ahead. That is why we are looking for a dedicated professional who can manage and coordinate our operative logistics in close cooperation with the rest of our Logistics team and our top-tier logistics partners. We operate our supply chain through external partners, and you will monitor, coordinate and manage our partners’ operations and performance. Tasks related to this will include following up KPIs and SLAs, ensuring proper flow of various transport documents and solving various ad-hoc situations that may arise. You will also participate in various internal coordination and work on areas of improvement together with our CRM and Planning teams.

As a Supply Chain Operation Specialist, you will be working in cross-functional teams of dedicated and competent colleagues including B2B, planning and support, on a day-to-day basis. You will also be handling dialog with external partners, 3PL and customs. You will be part of the Supply Chain team and report to VP Logistics.

The position is on-site in Oslo.

Further tasks and responsibilities

  • Handling of inbound shipments and distribution across warehouses

  • Close follow-up of and troubleshooting with global logistics partners with regards to SLAs and their performance

  • Quality assurance of documentation with international partners

  • Booking and follow-up of bulk shipments: to retailers/distributors, business customers, and between warehouses

  • Use and make the most out of ERP and similar technology, making us scale in a good manner

  • Follow-up on return shipments and related handling at our partners’ sites

  • Operational coordination between channels (retail, own stores, B2B etc)

Who are you?

You have a strong interest in logistics and experience from working with operations. You like to work in cross-functional teams, but at the same time want to belong to a department where professional expertise is cultivated. You thrive on high pace, new challenges and responsibilities. You want to be part of our growth journey and contribute with your expertise to make this possible.

We also believe you are/have some of the following
