Technician - Logistic Maintenance

Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a technician to join our passionate team in Skellefteå.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
You will be working intimately with operators, technicians and other production personnel. Your focus will be on execution of mechanical maintenance in the factory.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Periodic inspection and maintenance of AGV, ASRS, Elevators and Overheadcranes.
- Perform extraordinary maintenance regarding internal and external parts of the property within specified intervals
- Being a key player together with the rest of the team to develop and maintain a safe work environment according to health and safety regulations on site.
- Ensure that safety rules for maintenance activities (such as LOTO procedure) are known applied by its team.
- PLC and HMI knowledge a plus

Skills & Requirements
- Uses advanced knowledge of PLC/HMI and motion control and robot software to troubleshoot equipment and make repairs. Uses advanced knowledge of PLC to perform programming functions as required.
- Identifies trouble areas and determines corrective action.

Observes electro-mechanical and pneumatic devices in operation.

Provide effective electrical troubleshooting of electrical and electronic circuits

Possess a working knowledge of adjustable speed AC and DC drives and motors

Possess electrical, computer literacy and ability to read and interpret electrical drawings

Initiate and complete technical activities leading to new and/or improved production processes.

Perform preventive maintenance on plant systems and equipment
