About the job
We are looking for a curious and talented intern with a 'can-do' attitude to be part of Northvolt's Chemical Compliance team, which sits in the Sustainability & Environment department. The Chemical Compliance team ensures that Northvolt is safely managing chemicals across all our operations and products. We are looking for a person who is excited by the idea to learn more about the challenges and opportunities in working with complex chemical processes and products and has an educational background in chemical engineering or other related field.

The intern will support the chemical compliance team in drafting e.g. Safety Data Sheets, REACH registrations, PPORD notifications, developing training materials and putting together analysis on regulatory and industry developments.

About the team
Northvolt’s Sustainability & Environment team today consists of 11 professionals committed to defining, operationalizing and enforcing sustainability requirements and roadmaps for the organization to deliver on our mission of World’s Greenest Battery. This includes e.g. supply chain sustainability, environmental projects, environmental permitting, setting standards for Northvolt Green Factories, chemical compliance, sustainability impact assessments and roadmaps, and reporting and policy advocacy.
