reMarkable is a Norwegian technology company that develops products to help people “think better”. In a short period of time, we have grown extensively and now have over 200 employees onboard. We are now looking for our IT PMO, who will be responsible for managing the portfolio of IT initiatives and projects. About the role

The newly established IT function at reMarkable is responsible for the IT strategy, IT architecture, and for developing and maintaining the IT solution portfolio that will secure our global growth. With reMarkable's growth the number of initiatives the IT systems tribe either own or participate in keeps increasing. In this role, your responsibilities will mainly be the IT portfolio- and project management and methodology, operationalizing the IT Strategy and IT Governance model and managing the IT partners and vendors. You will be involved in managing larger initiatives, such as the implementation of core systems like CRM and ERP, as well as a number of smaller initiatives in the organization. The PMO will balance the different needs in rM and make sure that the initiatives that get prioritized succeed. This is a unique opportunity to take part in shaping the IT PMO function from scratch.

Main Areas of Responsibility are:

  • Lead an IT Project Management Office (PMO)

  • Work closely with and support the CIO and Head of IT Architecture in IT project deliveries

  • Establishing and maintaining the IT portfolio- and project management methodology including change management, quality assurance, vendor and partner management

  • Contribute to developing and operationalizing the overall IT strategy and strategies within specific areas/domains

  • Develop and operationalize the IT Governance model and related arenas and decision processes, including reporting structure

  • Establish procedures and processes for identifying and prioritizing new initiatives

  • Manage the portfolio of IT initiatives and larger projects/program and related prioritization process

Examples of other tasks:

  • Establish and maintain a roadmap of the IT projects/initiatives

  • Manage the IT project budget and secure funding for required improvement initiatives and systems projects/programs

  • Ensuring the different IT projects are coordinated and sufficiently staffed.

  • Establish routines and procedures for IT project management, such as information sharing, tracking risks and issues, dependency management, benefits tracking and following up financials

  • Establish and manage relationships with key vendors and partners for the IT initiatives and projects

Is this the right opportunity for you?

  • You have the ability to see the big picture and to prioritize

  • You have experience with coordination and facilitation of cooperation

  • You have a Bachelor's degree. A Master's degree would be an advantage

  • You are fluent in English.
