Construction Site Manager

Northvolt has an exciting job offer as the Recycling Program Team is now looking for a Construction Site Manager – to be part of building the first giga factory for battery recycling and to enable the transition to renewable energy.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the construction execution at site, according to time and budget under safe conditions.

  • Coordination of all contractors at site to ensure good progress and cooperation, including daily coordination meetings with team and stakeholders.

  • Negotiate change orders throughout the execution and life cycle of the project.

  • Monitor schedule progress together with project planner and the team, including forecasts and mitigation actions at site to get the recycling plant up and running according to overall time plan

To fit the position as Construction Site Manager, you have experience from delivering large, multi-disciplinary technical, and industrial projects. You are a natural leader and have good knowledge of project management methodologies and are used to work with deadlines and keep track of project progress.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have

  • BSC/MSc from Technical Field and work experience from Construction Management or equivalent

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience

  • You have site and field experience, preferably experience from a green-field establishment

  • Leadership skills

  • Passion and enthusiasm for project execution, construction, and to achieve targets
