Northvolt has an exciting job offer as the Recycling team (Revolt), is now looking for a Logistics Project Manager for Recyclable Materials.

Northvolt has an ambitious target to have 50% recycled material in all battery cells produced by 2030. To make this happen the Revolt team has a big job to do, including securing the corresponding recyclable materials from the market.

As Logistics Project Manager for Recyclable Materials, you will drive the process of establishing a logistical capability to manage inflow battery materials to Revolt from all of Europe. You will act as the key link between the Revolt team and Northvolt’s logistics team, project managing activities related to ensuring a smooth logistical flow for recyclable materials into our recycling plants. You will lead initiatives to keep costs low, by creating smart logistical solutions, optimizing material flows and inventory levels. As Revolt’s first industrial recycling plant gets closer to start of production in 2023, this role will also be involved in production planning to optimize logistics based on the production needs.

You are an experienced project manager and have work experience within Logistics / Supply Chain. You have operational experience with shipping, transport, and warehousing. You are familiar with the administrative side of the logistical process, documentation required to dispatch, clear customs, receive and store cargo. You appreciate the importance of adequate packaging to ensure safety and sound condition of the products in transit, as well as at the warehouse. As one of our key markets in Europe is Germany, it is a plus if you speak German.

As a Logistics Project Manager for Recyclable Materials, you will get the chance to have a real impact on our success story of developing the world’s greenest batteries. Our organization requires and values great self-discipline and a natural talent to make things happen. The Logistics Project Manager is a vital member of the Revolt team and our European expansion, which is key to Northvolt's mission to enable the future of energy.

About the company

Northvolt makes green batteries for a blue planet. Affordable cells and high-quality battery systems. All manufactured with a record-low carbon footprint. Purposely built to provide Europe with the opportunity to switch to renewable energy – efficiently and entirely.

To accomplish this, we do things differently. We design, manufacture, and recycle everything under one roof. We even build our own factories. All this is incredibly challenging and requires us to think in unconventional ways. We’re constantly experimenting, learning and adapting to make batteries so great – they will one day make oil history.

Northvolt is growing fast. We’re staffing our international office in Stockholm, our R&D facility, Northvolt Labs, in Västerås, as well as our Gdansk facility for production of battery systems. We're also hiring for our gigafactory Northvolt Ett in Skellefteå, Sweden. We want to work with smart individuals from all disciplines. Strong individuals that truly want to make a positive impact on the future. Those of us already on board share a passion for our mission. We’re prepared to work hard in pursuit of excellence. We enjoy the ride and our main drive is to make a difference for real. As a team, we’re dedicated to thinking new, working hard and having fun.
