Scandic Destination Nordkapp is back in business and we’re hiring in all departments for the 2022 summer season.

The destination includes Scandic Bryggen, a small intimate boutique hotel; Scandic Honningsvåg, a well-known landmark in Norway’s northernmost town and Nordkapphallen, the visitor center at the very top of Europe – the North Cape Plateau.

As Group Coordinator you will be the link between Scandic’s central booking team and the hotels. It will be your responsibility to ensure that the hotel has received all necessary information about the groups. You will have the responsibility of cooperating and synchronizing with our partners to solve issues that might arise for the groups, as well as working together with the booking team at Nordkapphallen.

You will work closely with the Front Office Manager and Scandic Leisure Desk, while reporting to the Operations Manager. The position is mostly administrative but some work in operations is expected.

Skills & Requirements

Because Scandic Destination Nordkapp welcomes visitors and team members from all over the world, all our team members must speak and write English. Skills in any Scandinavian language are preferred. Please note any additional language skills in your application.

All positions are subject to national, local and company restrictions for infection control.

  • Previous experience from a similar position is preferred
  • Good skills in OPERA Hotel Systems is required
  • Ability to see solutions where others see challenges
  • Ability to organize your own work
  • Calm, precise and flexible

This position is seasonal with startup from late April until mid-September 2022. The position will also require work on evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Priority is given to internal candidates
