We are seeking a committed, talented, and ambitious Head of IT who will grasp this opportunity to join in a greenfield stage, and help build and enhance our IT Infrastructure, resiliency, and service availability. You will work broadly across all business departments and locations, working to ensure IT systems and people are effective and functioning within the limits of budget, time, and specifications of the company.

This is a key position in accelerating the Morrow framework for developing and implementing IT guidelines, processes, tools, systems, and procedures. Taking ownership of this new role will require a creative mindset, dedication, and a pro-active approach to solving challenges.

Skills & Requirements

  • Develop and implement IT strategies and infrastructure supporting the business

  • Manage IT operations and architecture in accordance with the company’s high growth period and set goals

  • Manage systems, tools, maintenance, and service partner agreements and create cost-efficient contracts

  • Ensure security of data, network access and back-up systems

  • Proactively manage and report on project status, deliverables, risks, and issues while working closely with multiple stakeholders

  • Build a supportive IT function that contributes to the collaboration across business areas

  • Manage IT assets and inventories, IT procurement, budgeting, and ensure cost effectiveness

You should have practical experience from at least one operational IT leadership role. You are confident in the leadership role, and have experience in implementation of technology solutions, data security, infrastructure, and the everyday operational issues. You need to have strong communicational skills and be used to communicate in both Norwegian and English.

Skills & Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in a technical field or highly relevant work experience can compensate

  • Proven problem-solving abilities

  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation

  • Experience in controlling IT budgets and contracts

  • Exposure of scaling-up IT requirements is advantageous

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills

  • Outstanding communication abilities

  • Motivated self-starter with excellent time management skills and strong data driven process orientated approach

  • Strategic thinker

  • Ability to commit to aggressive timelines and to deliver on those commitments

  • Strong interpersonal skills, strong work ethic and ability to flourish in a dynamic startup environment

  • Fluent in English
