reMarkable is a Norwegian technology company that develops products and services to help people think better in a distracted world. Following the successful launch of our second-generation paper tablet, which has been named one of TIME's "100 Best Innovations of 2020", we’re facing new challenges and opportunities as we expand into the global arena. In a short amount of time, we’ve grown from a small startup to having over 200 permanent employees and two fantastic offices in central Oslo - and we keep growing!

About the role

Our employees are the most important asset for us. We need to attract the best talents and strengthen ourselves as a wonderful workplace for potential and current employees. That is why we are currently looking for a dedicated professional who will be responsible for employer branding activities and our EB strategy. In this role, you will develop and produce marketing campaigns with the aim of making reMarkable known among our target group of potential employees. You will be working closely with our talent acquisition team with the goal of engaging prospective new colleagues and reinforcing the pride and engagement of current employees. An important step in attracting the right people, we need to ensure they know about us, our mission and that we are hiring within their skillset. Our hiring spans from a wide range of disciplines across our six departments; technology, design, marketing, strategy, Supply Chain and CRM, and this person will be an important facilitator for making reMarkable stand out as a workplace that meets their needs and expectations and where they can have an impact on our journey.

What you will be doing

  • Responsible for reMarkable´s employer branding activities

  • Lead EB strategy and execution

  • Develop, implement and manage selected employer branding initiatives, with focus on quality and details.

  • Gather insight as foundation for marketing initiatives to strengthen reMarkable´s position as an exciting place to work.

  • Develop briefs, secure and evaluate offers from relevant agencies.

  • Direct external partners from idea to launched campaign and secure involvement on relevant levels.

  • Secure execution and evaluate the results of initiatives.

  • Coordination with similar initiatives.

  • Ensure necessary information to relevant parties internally.

  • Look for synergies with other initiatives and room for scaling successful initiatives.

Examples of other tasks:

  • Make sure we have enough resources to build the best brand for future colleagues

  • Responsibility for other marketing activities as needed.

Who are you?

A strong marketing specialist with relevant experience from employer branding initiatives. You have hands-on experience with production and worked strategically with employer branding. You identify yourself as a strong project manager that is able to work systematically with different stakeholders, both internally and with external partners. Work is such a large part of life for most of us, and you view the task of positioning reMarkable as a workplace with enthusiasm and excitement. Inspiring the right people to join us on this journey - to help people think better in a distracted world.

We believe that you have some of the following

  • Experience from Employer branding - positioning with a focus on attracting the best employees.

  • Experience from complex marketing and communication initiatives with several elements coming together to a whole. E.g. a campaign that reaches across multiple channels (digital and traditional advertising) and platforms (webpage, email).

  • Extensive experience from project management and planning

  • Experience from sourcing of relevant expertise to produce relevant “marketing” content

  • Detail orientation to ensure quality and brand fit

  • Experience from independent work; scheduling and planning workflow for marketing initiatives

  • The ability to define and prioritize goals and consider if ideas/ measures will deliver wanted results.

  • Curiosity in people and how their behavior can be influenced through marketing.

  • A growth mindset; willing to learn, develop and consider new ways - based on learning and input from projects.

  • Excellent cooperation skills
