We are looking for a dedicated Operations Integration Engineer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our passionate Tools & Products team based in Stockholm.  By joining us, you will be a key player in all the operations behind the integrations of our IT systems and contribute to building one of the first large-scale European battery factories.

You will take care of:

  • Plan the implementation of the product configuration/integration work;
  • Executing product configuration, integration and migration work;
  • Preparing system test, module test, and accept test;
  • Troubleshooting and attending to system faults;
  • You will work to identify and drive improvements around our IT Systems and integration points;
  • Executing testing, scripting & coding;
  • Documenting, knowledge-sharing about integrations

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • You will be involved in systems integrations, solutions development, monitoring and operations in Microsoft Azure but not only - in order to automate processes and build high-quality standardized integration components together with a team of fun and dedicated developers.
  • You will as well work closely with the Integrations Architecture team and will support the IT Operations & Infrastructure department by translating business requirements into solution designs, configurations and builds, as well as determine effort estimates for all integration requests at Northvolt.
  • You will be an essential part of the Tools and Products team, by working within the following enterprise architecture frameworks: principles, policies, standards, templates, roadmaps of integrations deriving in and out of our tools' stack.
  • You will be working on agile projects with test-driven development in the Azure Environment to develop applications on Azure that are scalable, secure, resilient, and highly available. To perform the above-mentioned, you will integrate components, publish APIs, and might support integration needs even in situations that will require data imports from sources that are initially not supported by integration frameworks.
  • You will be involved in developing Azure Logic Apps, communicating with any service endpoint, running your own code, organizing your workflow, manipulating data, and using built-in triggers and actions.

Furthermore, in the position of Operations Integrations Engineer, you will work to deploy API gateways side-by-side with the APIs hosted in Azure and continually update infrastructure and resources needed to run your applications. This includes helping design AI models to optimize our business processes and getting insights from our data to create business-focused definitions of our organization's data for use within apps. You will focus on creating and building Data Lake solutions, optimizing our Dynamics 365 Talent solution & developing integrations through multiple 3rd party Integration Designing.

In addition, an important activity will be data mapping, from data definition, integration and analysis of data frequency transmission, matching source fields to target fields and possible encoding of information. You will develop the data mapping and transformation in a test and production environment, plan migration events or live integrations. Finally, maintaining and updating the various data integrations with the addition of new sources or in the case of changes in the sources or in target requirements will be a part of the tasks of this job.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have:

  • Excellent skills in data analysis, from retrieving data from one or more sources, to preparing and cleaning data, handling missing or inconsistent data that may affect the result and finally transforming data to extract an answer from a question.
  • Supported teams to plan work, collaborate on code development, and build and deploy applications.

  • Experience with full software lifecycle automation (CI/CD).

  • Managed Logic Apps Integrations; service provider integrations; Web Development Analysis, Design and development of modules;

  • Created and deployed Azure Functions in Visual Studio;

  • High competence in system development models, methodology and documentation.

  • Minimally 3 years working experience in Integrations

  • Excellent English written and oral skills 

  • Track record of successful Integrations achievements

  • Azure Development & Architecture: Cloud Services, App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Logic App, Event Hub, Azure API Management, Redis Cache, Azure Storage, Azure AppInsight Web Technologies, Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell: ASPNet, Visual Studio, MVC 4/5, OData, Web API, WCF, HTML, CSS;
  • Frontend, Backend: React, Typescript, Go, GraphQl, PostgreSQL;

You might also have:

  • Good integration experience in procurement, sales, marketing, production, planning, logistics and warehouse management - good to have is knowledge in trade and logistics and Production spectrum.
  • Power Platform Development & Architecture; Common data service (Data verse); Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven); Power Automate; Power BI architecture with Azure Data lake and BYOD;
  • D365 F&O Technical Architecture; Integrations & 3rd Party Integrations Designing; Azure DevOps;

  • Dynamics Talent (Technical & basic Functional knowledge) with respective Integrations; Azure AD integrations; LCS, RSAT, BPM library setup knowledge.

Bonus points for: 

  • Experience and interest in the manufacturing industry
  • A degree in Computer Science or relevant university experiences
  • Fluency in other languages (Japanese, Swedish, Indian, Chinese, French)  
  • Experience from a multi-cultural environment
