We are looking for a driven coordinator to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our bold construction team based in Skellefteå.  By joining us, you will be a key player in ramping up Site services and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.  

About the job
As a site service coordinator you will support stakeholders, Northvolt block organizations and all contractors on site. You will manage at least 5 service suppliers that are working inside the buildings. The key services are scaffolding, cleaning/waste management, temporary utilities and temporary structures.

You will work closely with the block organizations (every building is a separate block) to optimize our services to deliver services of highest possible quality. Your approach shall be on a strategic level but have to be out on site to plan and validate performed work.

About the team
The Site service team are responsible for all temporary services and structures on site - the success of the project is depending heavily on the team. Everyone in the team have to be driven and work independently - you will have to work digitally and structured to manage the large scope.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinate the site service contractors inside the buildings making sure that the vendors can work efficient with as few hindrance as possible.

  • Take part in the blocks meetings to identify and mitigate risks with construction progression due to site services.
  • Gathering and analyzing data on progression to make informed decisions on how to adjust services to ensure highest efficiency.
  • Working closely with commissioning and operations organization to have a smooth transition of responsibilities over the site services.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or similar work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent English written and oral skills
  • Solid technical experience in supervising, site services, scaffolding, waste management and cleaning services
  • Analytical skills

Bonus points for: 

  • Proficient in MS applications, Power platform is a plus
  • Fluency in other languages (Japanese, Swedish, Chinese, French) 
  • Experience from a multi-cultural environment
