We have started to ramp up a global Business Development hub at our Amsterdam office and we are looking for ambitious Graduate Business Development Representatives to join our growing global Business Development practice.
Key Role Responsibilities
Business development is a key function within the marketing team. Your role will be to proactively develop quality, enterprise level pipeline through e-mail, telephone and social media outreach and to qualify and nurture incoming enquiries to the point of ‘sales ready lead’. You will be a key bridge between sales and marketing working to enhance and support marketing campaigns and working closely with account executives and sales leadership to target accounts and develop quality leads.
This is a great entry level opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in enterprise SaaS sales. You will be working closely with Enterprise sales teams and interacting with key decision makers at some of the world’s largest organisations, exploring their business challenges and connecting these to the benefits of Basware solutions. Develop sales opportunities for Account Executives within a defined set of target accounts, through a combination of inbound lead qualification and outbound business development activities; utilising phone, video conference, e-mail and social media communication.
Developing relationships with target accounts, expanding your contact base and understanding their critical issues, business initiatives and decision-making processes.
Drive leads through the early stages of the sales process by regularly communicating with prospects, sending appropriate content and hosting high-level demos.
Handover qualified leads to the Account Executive team at an appropriate maturity status, initiating calls and face-to-face appointments with Account Executives.
Skills & Requirements

Proactive and results-driven individual with a strong desire to build a career in sales
Strong communicator; comfortable with video and voice calls
Proficiency in SaaS software platforms and data handling
Highly organized and structured working style
Mental stamina to generate high levels of outreach activity on a daily basis and the grit to handle rejections effectively
Ability to communicate complex propositions in a compelling and understandable way
Proficient in Dynamics CRM and HubSpot preferred
Fluency in English and Dutch or German
Previous experience in sales or business development is advantageous, but not essential
