Marketing business function is responsible for guiding prospects & customers throughout their journey with Basware. Through providing thought leading insights, practical advice and a roadmap for automation, in partnership with our Sales function, we enable organizations to simplify operations, spend smarter and drive the transformation of their Finance & Procurement functions. Leveraging industry leading marketing platforms including Hubspot, LeadForensics and many more, we activate multi-channel marketing programs to help prospects get informed, build their business case, select the right-fit solutions, and ensure our customers get the most value from their Basware solutions.

Business development is a key function within the marketing team at Basware. In 2022 we will establish a global BDR practice, serving all our markets worldwide. We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead this team. Starting with an existing team of 6 remotely based BDRs, the mission will be to grow the team, establishing a common way of working across all markets and driving pipeline generation to the next level.

Key role responsibilities

This is an amazing opportunity for an ambitious BDR manager, looking to take the next step in their career by leading the setup of this global function. You will employ the best practice you have developed as a BDR, team lead, and manager, taking Basware’s BDR operation to the next level.

  • Establish the global BDR practice at Basware, implement global processes, performance metrics, and KPIs, and drive pipeline growth.
  • Manage a team of BDRs, establishing a winning culture and day-to-day activities, tempo, and rituals that drive success.
  • Grow the team to meet the future demand generation needs of the market
  • Provide market feedback and recommendations to influence marketing and sales strategies and tactics and generate more effective campaigns
  • Collaborate with regional sales leaders to ensure alignment with sales teams and maintain lead handling discipline amongst account executives.
  • Work closely with global marketing and sales leaders to continuously optimize demand generation and lead management

Skills & Requirements

  • Track record of success as a BDR manager or team lead within an Enterprise selling environment, ideally in a global SaaS company
  • Excellent understanding of best practices, processes, and daily rituals which drive outstanding BDR performance and the ability to implement these in a team setting.
  • Experience with working in an international environment driving demand generation across multiple territories.
  • Excellent team management skills, able to drive day-to-day performance of remote and on-site team members and to keep them motivated and focused.
  • Experience in successfully establishing new ways of working in a global enterprise setting.
  • Ability to collaborate with and hold own against senior stakeholders from sales and marketing.
  • Proficient in Dynamics CRM and HubSpot preferred
  • Fluent in English, and Dutch or Nordic language (Finnish or Swedish) or German or French required
