We seek an experienced and motivated test pilot to join our small, fast moving team developing a new electric aircraft in Sweden. We’re in a very expansive phase and now is the time to join our team.

You will report to the Head of Flight Test Operations and will be responsible for the safe and effective execution of flight operations, ensuring that flight test aircrew are suitably trained, qualified and licenced to operate aircraft owned by the company.
You will have the following responsibilities:
Conduct developmental and certification flight testing as PIC on experimental aircraft
Approve, assign and authorise all aircrew for flight test operations
Monitor and maintain satisfactory flying standards and discipline of all aircrew
Participate in all aspects of flight test activity, positively contributing to the overall product development, including operational process & procedures, aircraft systems & rig assessments, cockpit design and alerting philosophy
Work closely with Flight Test Engineers to plan, execute and report flight test activities to meet programme objectives
Participate in Test Readiness Reviews and Flight Test Safety Reviews
Review supporting safety assessments, flight test documentation, operating procedures and limitations
Participate in the development of Aircraft Flight Manuals, check lists and related publications
Represent the company before regulatory/aviation authorities and support corporate business development as required
Ensure customer demonstration flights are safely and professionally flown
Graduate Fixed Wing Test Pilot
EASA CAT 1 Flight Test Rating (or equivalent)
EASA ATPL(A) with minimum 1000Hrs PIC
Completed at least 500Hrs of Cat 1 or Cat 2 flight testing
A sound knowledge of aircraft performance, airborne systems, human factors, stability/control & handling qualities
Experienced manager with first rate organisational and administrative skills
Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English

Highly Desirable Experience:
Minimum of 8 years experience on developmental or experimental flight test programmes with at least 5 years in a test leadership position
In current flying practice (at least 50Hrs in the last 12 months) with recency in a test flying role
Experience with aircraft certification programs through the entire design, development & certification lifecycle (EASA/FAA Part 23 or 25)
Direct experience with early-stage formation of a Flight Test Organisation
