As a Search Engine Optimisation Consultant, you are a vital player in helping our clients succeed with digital commerce.
With your knowledge about SEO best practices, you’re able to successfully implement Technical SEO Changes and effectively manage SEO content strategies based on requirements provided by our clients and senior consultants.
Your role will be adjusted to meet your specialisation as well as your competency areas.
Responsibilities:
To develop and/or implement an SEO strategy
To stay up to date on new and improved methods of improving online visibility and integrating improvements into the strategy
To collaborate with other professionals related to the design and content to ensure SEO strategies are used effectively
Liaise directly with clients around SEO Opportunities and Optimization Roadmapping.
Communication between clients, project managers and developers to effectively execute in-depth SEO Strategies.
Examples of what you will be doing:
Working with colleagues and other agencies to implement required technical SEO changes
Follow best practices for SEO and advise on the best approach
Manage the SEO for site migrations and new site launches
Executing SEO strategies
Measure SEO performance
Keyword analysis and reporting
Internal consulting to Senior Consultants, Project Managers and Developers
Analyzing data, building monthly reports, and providing insights
Keeping up to date on industry changes and best practices (such as algorithm updates)
Contributing to user experience and conversion optimization audits and testing projects
Minimum Requirements:
A relevant Bachelor's Degree
2-3 years of experience in the field
An excellent understanding of keyword research, organic growth strategy, as well as metadata and website cross-linking implementation.
An in-depth understanding of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console
Knowledge of Technical and Content SEO
Experience with SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog, and Google Data Studio would be beneficial.
The ability to read and understand coding languages such as HTML and CSS, as well as best practices across search engines
Retail and/or B2B experience would be beneficial
Good communication skills.
Fast-Learning and being able to work under pressure.
Strategic thinker that can offer creative solutions and ideas, with the ability to translate and communicate data into actionable items
