The Insurance Sales manager for Sweden has a critical role in supporting the Insurance strategy in the Nordics. Using customer and partner insights to understand key challenges within sales and distribution and prioritizing actions to address these, whilst ensuring the budget targets are met on a daily basis. The role requires close collaboration across the Nordic Insurance team, with the commercial functions locally, operations, legal and compliance, as well as insurance distribution partners in Sweden.

Main task and responsibilities

A key responsibility as Insurance sales manager is to secure an effective and streamlined distribution of insurance products in Sweden to meet customer expectations.

The activities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Facilitate, maximize sales performance, and ensure sales targets are met in all channels in the geography
  • Support the Insurance strategy and execution of improvements and innovation initiatives locally
  • Improvement of customer journeys to enhance good customer experience based on insight
  • Funnel management optimization and improvement of existing sales/distribution processes
  • Grow existing relationships and sales in external channels

You must be ready to take on the challenge that comes with working in a cross-Nordic team. We expect you to be independent and self-driven and manage to make the right priorities on a daily basis.

Once you have settled in the role, you are expected to take part in improving the insurance profitability. It will be important to increase CPR (customer protection rate) in all channels and improve the customer satisfaction.

  • Good business understanding of onboarding processes in different channels
  • Ability to coach and train internal and external sales agents in products and selling skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English

Preferred Experience & Education

Preferably 3+ years of relevant specialist experience within the financial service industry. You also have sales experience with proven results. You have knowledge of insurance products, services and processes, either from banc assurance, insurance company or from distribution/sale of insurance.

You have a Bachelor in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or similar.
