Job Description

What You’ll Do:

The Sales Development & Sales Support Representative will be responsible for prospecting and nurturing new opportunities from outbound activities and building a strong pipeline of sales opportunities to deliver on monthly targets. This role will be working closely with Owler’s Sales Leadership to help drive qualified demos through multiple prospecting channels. This is not just a pure Sales Development role but will be a Hybrid role where you split your time between driving qualified demos for Sales Leadership to run while supporting the sales process from joining initial demo calls, to help managing our Owler Pro for Team trial users all while working with some cool tools (Drift, Pendo & of course Owler’s tool, Pro for Teams) to help make you more efficient & successful.

Sales Development & Sales Support Representatives will enjoy working with and learning from the mentoring of great sellers, strong leadership in a supportive environment focused on personal development and career advancement. High-performers in this role can expect to advance their career in 6-12 months to be Sales Consultants, holding ownership over the full sales cycle.

Role Description:

  • Prospecting a variety of companies and organizations across multiple industries.
  • Generating interest that leads to scheduled demo calls with new prospects via outreach methods that include cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn, as well as outreaching to the Owler user base of over 5 million free users.
  • Joining all Owler Pro for Team’s demo calls that are scheduled ( Initially to bridge the learning gap.)
  • Managing the Owler Pro for Teams trial set up for interested teams.
  • Supporting Owler’s sales efforts by checking trial usage of these teams via our Admin Tools & Pendo (User Management System of Owler’s 5 million+ free users) and communicating with teams that are on trials to ensure highest possible usage & conversions.
  • Managing surveys post team trials and sharing feedback with the Owler Product team for potential future product updates.
  • Having Drift (Chatbot & Sales support tool) operational and open throughout the day to capture other leads that are qualified through fielding initial questions and chatting to get them booked in for initial demo calls.
  • Working with Sales Leadership to develop Key Account Strategy and support those initial prospecting efforts.
  • Meeting and exceeding your daily, weekly and monthly activity goals which will be centered around demo’s scheduled as well as team trial conversions.
  • Using Salesforce, Pendo, Drift & Owler to support overall Sales efforts.
  • Other Projects & Responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.
Skills & Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

  • 1-3 years of sales and/or sales support experience
  • Desire to work in B2B tech sales in a rapidly growing company
  • Working knowledge of how to log activity in Salesforce or a CRM System
  • Strong executive presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player mentality with the ability to work independently toward ambitious goals
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management
  • Ability to articulate and present our value proposition to prospective clients across varied industries
  • Coachable, self-motivated, curious, and resilient
  • Bachelor’s degree with evidence of high achievement in academics and extracurriculars
