Northvolt has an important and exciting job offer for a Senior System Engineer to join our top team in Stockholm.
In joining us you will play an important part in the transformation to a carbon free society that is the mission of Northvolt. The customers of Northvolt System solutions are a wide range of industries all the way to high scale ESS grid applications.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop top level system solutions for LV and HV battery systems within a range of different industrial applications in high volumes and worldwide usage
Recieve and evaluate requirements from customer and internal stakeholders and take ownership of high-level system requirements – within electrical, mechanical/thermal/BMS/Functional safety and SW areas
Support break-down of requirements to the other teams in the development organization – HW & electrical, SW and mechanical/thermal team
Perform system analysis of present and future customer battery system applications
Design and evaluate electrical systems, protection components, sensors and EMC related to the operation of battery applications
Perform system analysis for safety and reliability, such as FMEA and high-level risk assessment
Support integration of hardware and software functional implementation and evaluation
Define system level test requirements
