Job Description

Planhat is looking for a Director of our BDR organization for North America. We are in a hyper-growth phase, with a platform that is loved and used by thousands of users across the world. This is a great opportunity to join an experienced and global team in an expansive phase.

As Director of BDRs for our business in North America, you will ultimately be responsible for building, managing and driving Planhat's business development organization in NAM. Your role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Own and execute the strategy for the BDR organization in NAM
  • Develop plans to target, penetrate, and develop pipeline with outbound programs
  • Create strategies to optimize inbound conversions for both demo requests and top of funnel leads
  • Build team capacity models aligned to achieving pipeline goals
  • Develop comp plans that motivate and drive success
  • Create goals and target plans for managers and individual BDRs
  • Manage, coach, and mentor BDR managers
  • Prioritize campaigns based on sectors, segments, and personas
  • Build ABM programs to support enterprise sales
  • Develop key leading and lagging indicators for weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales to understand programs and areas of focus
  • Prioritize and build prospecting playbooks and manuals
  • Create a hiring plan to scale the BDR org by 2x to 3x

Skills & Requirements

  • 5 years of sales and BDR leadership experience in B2B SaaS
  • Proven ability to engage the hearts and minds of the team to motivate, inspire and drive a performance-based culture to deliver measurable value to our clients
  • Excellent BDR skills
  • Smart, humble and ambitious

  • Passion for SaaS and technology
