Annalect is the Data, Technology, Analytics and Consulting division of Omnicom Media Group (OMG), sitting as a foundation of expertise. We operate both at the centre of OMG, as well as, embedded in the individual agencies ToinenPHD and OMD Finland. At the Centre, we manage all of our development, data management and deep technical expertise to support our client embedded teams, and in the agencies, manage individual agency client projects. Annalect employs 1200 people globally in centres of excellence and embedded inside Omnicom agency teams.
We have been the driving force behind the global clients such as P&G, AT&T, Volkswagen and McDonald’s joining the Omnicom roster. Locally, we empower the likes of Paulig, Ikea, OP, Cloetta, Stockmann, Kone, Marimekko, Veho, DNA, and Bayer. Already in 2015 Annalect was chosen as the "Smart Data Agency of the Year” by I-Com.
2010Omnicom establishes Annalect as a competence center for new breed of data and analytics expertise.
2011The first big data platform for handling digital marketing data is built in Finland by OMG (later to be called a DMP in the market).
2012Omnicom acquires Toinen Helsinki and Ainoa Helsinki. Omnicom Media Group Finland is formed with the joining of OMD to the group.
2013The launch of Annalect DMP: A huge step in global competencies was taken in 2013 as reported e.g. by media post and MRWeb with the launch of the first iteration of Annalect DMP, or the first agency owned global DMP as AdExchance called it.
2014First ever global partnership by an agency with Sales Force on their Marketing Cloud.
2015Behind the scenes build-up of Annalect in Finland starts with the code name of Evidence. Evidence employs 10 researchers and two digital analysts. A fast scaling of competence to advanced analytics, data science and technology platforms starts.
2016The launch of Annalect Data Cloud globally: the original Annalect DMP has then evolved significantly to form the Annalect Data and Technology Cloud.
201617.5.2016 Annalect Finland is launched to the public.
2016At September 2016, the technology consulting unit is established in full.
20171.2.2017 the first global launch of a data solution built in Finland: the Predictive Conversion Model. The solution gathers great international exposure and interest due to breaking the boundaries on what can be achieved with digital analytics.
2017Today: Annalect Finland has grown to over 40 people strong team; employing developers, architects, analysts, data scientists, researchers and technology and marketing consultants. Annalect globally works with 22 companies out of Fortune 50.
