DeepSense is an early-stage medtech startup developing smart hardware for prosthetic sockets. Our first product is a real-time rectification pad for transfemoral prostheses — fully self-contained and designed to give amputees a comfortable socket fit across the full range of their daily activities. The pad also provides clinicians the data they need to fit sockets faster and better. Our core technology is patent pending.
We are supported by KTH Innovation and have secured over 200 000 SEK in soft funding to advance product development.
Spinouts from KTH Royal Institute of Technology receive extensive support from inhouse Business Development Coaches as well as additional support such as office space, community activities, team development support, IP and legal counseling, access to industry, mentor and investor networks.
