VIDEM is a biotech startup founded in 2021 by entrepreneurs and world leading scientists. We are building superior diagnostic solutions for infectious diseases to enable optimal treatment and prevent the spread of infections and antimicrobial resistance.

VIDEM’s technology has been developed through years of state of the art R&D within chemistry, bio and nanotechnology in a collaboration between some of Sweden’s leading universities and institutes. Our technology is universally applicable for all pathogens and enables multiplex testing while giving accurate test results within an hour instead of days.

Today, we have proof of concept, patent protection and are developing our first product - a small, automated and low-cost molecular diagnostic device for quick and accurate detection of infections to be used at the point of care, in the field or in your home.
