We are looking for a backend developer for an exciting project with drones and wildlife!

We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer who is able to understand, design, develop and build software infrastructures for the company drone platform.

The task will be to develop the backend infrastructure of our drone fleet management software (backend side), with particular attention to maintainability and future scalability, and improvements of the system.

The right fit for this position

• Degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience
• Deep knowledge in software design and development as well of Software engineering principles
• Previous experience in building, developing, and maintaining complex software stacks, as well as modifying software to fix errors, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
• Experience in directing system testing and validation procedures.
• Directing software programming and documentation development.
• Good command in both writing and spoken English.

Some more input on the technologies: * The ideal candidate should have developed previous experience with the following technologies: * Backend Frameworks, in particular, Django or Flask * Confident to use different Operating Systems (in particular Linux) * Knowledge in Python, Javascript, C++, automated build frameworks(YAML)

Compensation and form of employment
As a fast-moving start-up, we are looking for a person who can start as soon as possible and work on
the project for at least 2 months. We prefer a candidate who can work ideally at least 50% of full-time on this project, however at minimum 20%. Hence, this is a perfect job for someone who is studying or has a day-time job but is keen on taking on an extra project that can result in a long-term opportunity in a growing impact-oriented company.
