DTR1 is KTH based start-up in power engineering, cleantech and digital solutions. Our main goal is to provide a tool for power delivery companies and wind farm operators to reduce the waste of materials from building new products by using existing ones more efficiently.
At DTR1 we work with power transformers. You don’t need to know what is a power transformer - just know it is a very important and very expensive asset! Using it more efficiently can result in large cost savings
A substantial amount of research has been done at KTH in the field of dynamic transformer rating (DTR), which was also supported and financed by several large grid operators and manufacturers in Sweden, however, there are no suitable commercial solutions available that would allow using this technology in practice.
At DTR1 you will be working with a team of researchers and engineers to build this product and integrate it into the market.
