Introduction
Protecting your personal data is important for SF Studios and we strive to be open and transparent regarding our processing of such information. This document describes how your personal data is processed and protected throughout the recruitment process.
If you apply for a job at SF Studios, your personal data will be registered and processed by SF Studios in order for us to manage the recruitment process at hand, as well as for the purpose of being able to use the data in future recruitments.
We will only process information that is necessary for carrying out the recruitment process such as, for example, contact information as well as information which may help us evaluate the applicant's suitability and career opportunities.

Responsibility for the processing of your personal data
Unless otherwise stated, AB Svensk Filmindustri is responsible for the processing of your personal data. AB Svensk Filmindustri may share your personal data with other companies within the SF Studios Group as well as selected personal data processors when needed to fulfil the purpose of the processing. For example, Jobylon acts as a personal data processor since Jobylon helps us collect your information via the recruitment tool.
The personal data we collect
The majority of the information processed by us is provided by yourself. Information can also be collected by publicly available sources. The data collected is used only for recruitment purposes, including statistical purposes, e.g., demographic analyses of applicants, unless otherwise expressly stated. Such data is processed only on an aggregated and non-identifiable basis.
If you are offered a position within SF Studios, we also use your personal data when drafting the employment contract.
Please note that the personal data in your application can be used for recruitment to other positions within SF Studios. If you are not interested in any other position, please contact us, and inform us that you want to be excluded (see information below under the CONTACT US heading).
How we use personal data
We process the following categories of personal information when you submit your application, such as CV and personal letter, to us:
• contact information such as name, e-mail address, postal address, and telephone number • date of birth
• previous employers and references
• recruitment documentation, such as interview notes and test results
SF Studios does not require you to disclose any sensitive personal data, such as information regarding ethnic origin, political opinion, religion or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health, or sexual orientation, and we kindly ask that you to not include such information in your application.

If you wish to obtain information regarding what personal data we are processing about you, you can send us a request by contacting us as described in the section entitled “CONTACT US” below.
Your individual rights
SF Studios complies with current data protection legislation in the European Union, the application of which encompasses the following rights:
• If processing of personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the future processing of your personal data at any time.
• You have the right to request, free of charge, an excerpt from the register (as defined in the relevant legislation), as well as access to a copy of your personal data, and to request correction and – under certain circumstances – erasure of personal data about you.
• You have the right to oppose the processing of personal data about you.
• You have the right to request that we transfer your personal data to a different organization that will take responsibility for processing your personal data (data controller) in cases where our right to process your personal data is based either on your consent or our complying with an agreement with you.
• You have the right to submit complaints to a supervisory authority. In Sweden, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) is the authority that supervises how we, as a company comply with the applicable laws on privacy protection.
When we transfer personal data outside the European Union and/or the European Economic Area, we do so based on a number of legal mechanisms as described in the section entitled “WHERE WE SAVE AND PROCESS PERSONAL DATA” below.
Security for your personal data
We apply a range of security technologies and security methods to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use and disclosure.
Where we store and process personal data
The personal data we collect may be stored and processed primarily in the region where you live, in Sweden or in other countries in which we, the SF Studios group of companies and our business partners or suppliers have business operations. The storage locations are selected with a view to ensuring efficient functioning, improving performance, and generating redundancy with the intention of protecting data from power outages or other such problems. We adopt measures to ensure that data we collect under this privacy policy are processed in accordance with the provisions of this policy, and pursuant to the applicable legislation in the place where the data are located.
If we would transfer personal data to a third country, i.e., a country outside the EU/EEA, we will enter into agreements and take other necessary measures in line with applicable laws.
Our retention of personal data
Your application will be stored and retained during the employment period and for a maximum of two years thereafter. The reason for this is that SF Studios may need to show that the recruitment procedure has not been discriminatory. However, the employer has no obligation to save the information you provide.
Changes to this integrity policy
We may need to make changes to our integrity policy. We provide information regarding major changes made to the policy, such as changes regarding the purposes for processing, regarding who is responsible for the processing of personal data as well as regarding your individual rights.
