Which best describes your JVM experience?*

I have several years of professional experience building and operating production backend systems on the JVM, and am comfortable designing services, APIs, concurrency, performance, and debugging JVM applications. I have solid professional JVM experience, primarily with Kotlin or Java, and have built production backend services, but haven’t worked deeply with JVM internals or performance. I have some professional experience with Kotlin or Java, but most of my backend experience is in other languages or ecosystems. I have little or no professional JVM experience, but I have strong backend engineering experience in another ecosystem. I have limited professional backend experience overall.

Which best describes your experience working with data scientists or ML teams?*

I have regularly worked with data scientists/ML engineers to take models or experiments into production, including integrating them into backend systems and thinking about evaluation and model behaviour. I have worked closely with data scientists/ML engineers and helped productionise their work, but my involvement with models and evaluation has been relatively limited. I have collaborated with data scientists/ML engineers, but mostly through well-defined interfaces rather than working closely on experiments or productionisation. I have little direct experience working with data scientists/ML teams, but I’m interested in doing so. I have no professional experience working with data science or ML teams.
