Det bolag inom Handelsbankenkoncernen som du söker en tjänst hos är personuppgiftsansvarig för behandlingen av de personuppgifter som registreras i samband med rekryteringsprocessen. I beskrivningen nedan avses samtliga bolag inom Handelsbankenkoncernen när vi skriver 'Handelsbanken', 'banken', 'vi' eller 'oss'.

Här nedan beskriver vi bland annat vad personuppgifterna kommer att användas till, hur länge vi sparar personuppgifterna samt hur du kan få tillgång till dina personuppgifter, framföra synpunkter eller ställa frågor om behandlingen.

Vilka personuppgifter hanteras av banken och varför?
Banken behandlar de personuppgifter som registreras i samband med att du skickar in en ansökan samt under rekryteringsprocessen, såsom exempelvis namn, e-post, telefonnummer, adress, CV, personligt brev och information som framkommer vid bakgrundskontroll. Ändamålet med behandlingen är att vi ska få tillgång till de uppgifter som vi behöver ha som underlag för rekrytering.

Rättslig grund för bankens hantering av dina personuppgifter
Den rättsliga grunden för bankens behandling av dina personuppgifter är att det är ett berättigat intresse för banken eftersom behandlingen utförs på ditt initiativ.

Hur banken samlar in dina personuppgifter
Banken samlar in personuppgifterna direkt från dig i samband med att du skickar in en ansökan till en tjänst samt vidare under rekryteringsprocessen. I samband med bakgrundskontroll, som utförs av extern part, får banken personuppgifter om dig av den externa parten.

Vem delar banken dina personuppgifter med?
Banken delar information om dig med externa företag som tillhandahåller avtalade tjänster till banken kopplat till rekrytering. Banken kan även komma att dela informationen med andra bolag inom Handelsbankenkoncernen om din profil i övrigt är intressant för en tjänst hos något av de bolagen.

Hur länge sparar banken dina personuppgifter?
Banken sparar dina personuppgifter i två år efter att du skickat in din ansökan. Personuppgifter som banken får del av i samband med bakgrundskontroller sparas i 14 dagar efter leverans.

Dina rättigheter kring behandling av personuppgifter
Du har flera rättigheter gällande dina personuppgifter som banken hanterar:
• Du kan få en kopia av dina personuppgifter, ett så kallat registerutdrag.
• Om du upptäcker att banken har felaktiga uppgifter om dig korrigerar vi dessa så snart vi uppmärksammats på det, förutsatt att det inte finns begränsningar på grund av lagstiftning.
• Du kan begära radering eller begränsning av behandlingen av dina personuppgifter under vissa förutsättningar.
• Du kan invända mot att banken behandlar dina personuppgifter när det görs med den rättsliga grunden berättigat intresse.

Information to external candidates about Handelsbanken’s processing of personal data (for internal candidates, see “Processing of personal data of employees and others in the Handelsbanken Group”)

The company within the Handelsbanken Group to which you are applying for a position is responsible (in its capacity as a Controller) for the processing of the personal data that you provide in conjunction with the recruitment process. In the description below, any references to “Handelsbanken”, “the Bank, “we” or “us” refer to all companies in the Handelsbanken Group in Sweden.

Here, we describe how the personal data will be used, the time period during which the personal data will be stored, and how you can gain access to your personal data, make comments, or ask questions regarding the processing.

What personal data is processed by the Bank, and why?
The Bank processes the personal data which is registered when you apply for a position and during the recruitment process, such as name, email, phone number, address, CV, personal letter and information from background checks. The purpose of the processing is to gain access to the data that we need as supporting documentation in conjunction with recruitment.

Legal basis for the Bank’s processing of your personal data
The legal basis for the Bank’s processing of your personal data is that it constitutes a legitimate interest for the Bank, since the processing is carried out on your initiative.

How the Bank obtains your personal data
The Bank obtains personal data directly from you when you submit your application for a position with the Bank, and also during the recruitment process. The bank will also obtain personal data from an external provider carrying out background checks.

With whom does the Bank share your personal data?
The Bank needs to share information about you with external companies that provide the Bank with agreed services related to the recruitment process. At times, the Bank also may share the information with other companies in the Handelsbanken Group, for example if your profile were to be of interest in relation to positions within any of these companies.

How long does the Bank store your personal data?
The Bank will store your personal data for two years from the time you submit your application. Personal data obtained from background checks is stored for 14 days after delivery.

Your rights regarding processing of personal data
You have several rights regarding your personal data that is processed by the Bank:
• You can obtain a copy of your personal data – a register extract.
• If you find that the Bank has incorrect information about you, we will correct this as soon as we are made aware of the matter, unless restrictions are in place due to legislative requirements.
• You can request erasure of, or restriction in, the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
• You can object to the Bank’s processing of your personal data when this takes place on the legal grounds of the Bank’s legitimate interest.
