Candidate Privacy PolicyIf you apply for a job or get in touch with any employer through POC's service, your personal data will be registered with and processed by the employer. The purpose of this processing is to enable the employer to manage the recruitment process and evaluate your application.
Only data necessary for recruitment purposes may be processed, such as contact details and records used to assess your suitability for a role.
The Employer as ControllerThe employer whose job you apply for is the data controller and is responsible for your personal data. POC processes personal data on the employer's behalf as a data processor, providing the recruitment tool through which your information is collected.
The employer is committed to not disclosing your data to unauthorized third parties. Your data may, however, be shared with relevant data processors where necessary to carry out the recruitment process.
If you have questions about how your data is being handled, please contact the employer directly via
application@poc.com.
Collection of DataMost data processed is provided by you directly. In some cases, information may be gathered from publicly available sources. All data collected is used solely for recruitment purposes, including statistical analyses (such as demographic breakdowns of applicants) conducted only in aggregated, non-identifiable form.
Your application data may be considered for other open positions with the same employer. If you do not wish to be considered for other roles, please notify the employer directly. You may withdraw your consent for storing your data at any time by contacting the employer.
Processing of DataYour personal data is processed through standard recruitment steps: collection, storage, evaluation, communication, and deletion. This processing is necessary to facilitate the recruitment process and is carried out in the legitimate interest of the employer.
Data RetentionYour application will be stored for no longer than
one year after the position has been filled or the recruitment process has concluded. After this period, your data will be deleted unless you have given explicit consent for it to be retained longer (for example, to be considered for future roles).
Your RightsYou have the right to:
- Request information about what personal data is being processed, for what purpose, and who has access to it
- Request that inaccurate data be corrected
- Request that your data be erased or that processing be restricted, where applicable
- Receive a copy of the personal data held about you (once per year, free of charge)
- Data portability — in certain situations, you may request that your data be transferred to another controller in a structured, machine-readable format
- File a complaint with your national data protection supervisory authority
To exercise any of these rights, please contact the employer directly using the contact details provided in the application process.
