In 2021, Igloo was acquired by Dometic Brands and now there is the opportunity to Globally grow both brands together.
We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Company Store Manager.
This role is Responsible for managing all elements of retail factory store and Igloo warranty programs. Store management includes Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibility, hiring and training of store personnel, inventory management, sales and promotions to reach budgeted sales targets, and customer service.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct, train and supervise all clerical and hourly store personnel.
- Operate a Point of Sales system and navigate admin interface for sales and inventory management utilizing Shopify.
- Operate a cash register system with accuracy in cash, check, bankcard and invoice transactions.
- Receive and sign for transferred inventory and maintain receiving log.
- Operate a forklift to maintain and control store inventory and obtain product for customers.
- Maintain knowledge and accuracy in all financial transactions, inventory transactions, policies, and procedures.
- Arrange shipping of phone or web orders via Fedex, DHL, UPS, USPS (as appropriate).
- Work with customers to sell and ship discontinued, defective and overstock merchandise.
- Arrange and restock store shelves.
- Handle customer service problems, both in person and on the phone.
- Ordering of Igloo-branded apparel for resale.
- Maintain tax exempt forms using Texas tax forms.
- Create and implement sales events which include advertising, community representation, set up of sales items, pricing, staffing and other duties as needed.
- Plan annual gross profit plans by forecasting and developing annual budget.
- Skilled in Oracle – able to make transfers, audits and identify inventory control.
- Work with Payroll team on employee payroll deductions for employee purchases through the store.
- Responsible for month-end accounting procedures.
- Maintain financial records, prepare and execute bank deposits weekly.
- Attend and support Marketing Events/Tradeshows on an as-needed basis.
- Support internal departments such as Marketing or Sales with ad hoc requests.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalency.
- Experience: Three (3) years experience in retail sales, cash register operation, general clerical work, accounting, customer service, and inventory control with demonstrated ability to manage a retail business including supervisory experience coaching and training employees.
- Language skills: Able to speak, read, write and comprehend English and speak understand Spanish.
- Math skills: Basic understanding of retail math and currency exchange calculations.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift and transport up to 35 lbs. and stand at register for extended periods.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office- Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience using computer, cash registers and calculator in retail setting.
- Must be able to operate a forklift or have ability to learn and work safely in warehouse with forklift traffic.
- Able to be flexible with work hours to accommodate operations with possible Saturday shift.
