The Job

As Product Manager for Goggles, you will be the responsible project leader for all development projects within the goggles category. Working closely with the Merchandiser, designers, engineers, QC teams, and global suppliers, you will guide products from early briefs through development, certification, and production readiness.

You will ensure that each project meets its goals for timeline, cost, specifications, and quality, while supporting continuous innovation and technology development within the category. This is a hands‑on, cross‑functional role that offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of design, engineering, manufacturing, and product strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Development: Drive technical solutions to R&D challenges with support from designers, engineers, and tooling specialists.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Act as the primary interface with suppliers on product development topics. Secure samples, updates, and documentation on schedule.
  • Certification & Quality: Ensure products meet regulatory requirements and support QC activities, including documentation, testing, and certification updates.
  • Production Readiness: Deliver complete production documentation and ensure that products reach Production Ready Date on time.
  • Launch Support: Provide marketing and sales teams with the materials and product information needed for global launches.
  • Innovation & Roadmap Work: Contribute to the development of new technologies and category innovations together with the Merchandiser and POC’s product forum.

Skills & Requirements

To be successful in this role you are likely to have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management or product development, ideally within sports equipment, eyewear, hard goods, or technical consumer products.
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort working with structured processes and timelines.
  • Technical curiosity and a problem‑solving mindset.
  • Experience working with suppliers or manufacturing partners.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.
